Rev. Jeanne Phillips

Rev. Jeanne PhillipsRev. Jeanne Phillips has walked a unique path in ministry –- from TV News producer to hospice chaplain !   She has served as a licensed Religious Science Practitioner and spiritual counselor since 1996, as well as directed the Education Ministry and taught Religious Science classes for more than 10 years. She currently serves as Staff Minister at Vision Center for Spiritual Living.  In addition, she is credentialed as a Mindful Change Life Coach.
     After earning a BA degree in Broadcast Journalism, Jeanne spent 20 years reporting, anchoring and producing the nightly news at various stations throughout the United States. Her "inner compass" guided her out of the newsroom and into the San Diego Zoo Public Relations Department where she produced documentaries and shows for Animal Planet, PBS and network news broadcasts. In 2003, Spirit called her to take a larger leap -- into chaplaincy training and the hospice ministry.
     
In 2013, Jeanne completed her MA degree in Consciousness Studies at Holmes Institute. Lightbridge HospiceShe recently retired after 12 years serving as Spiritual Counselor at LightBridge Hospice in San Diego, providing spiritual and emotional support for patients with terminal illnesses and their families.
     She says her greatest joy is seeing the Divine within each individual while holding a safe and sacred space of unconditional love.  Her greatest desire is to be a healing presence, offering comfort and compassion to everyone she meets.
     Jeanne’s strong communication background, wide-ranging experiences and deep spiritual consciousness make her a powerful speaker who guides, empowers and inspires her audience.
